Covid-19 What We are Doing

To our valued customers and guests,

As Winnipeg, Canada and the world respond to the quickly changing nature of COVID-19, on behalf of all of us at Crown Auto Group, we hope everyone is safe and healthy.

We recognize our duty to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of our customer, employees and the general public.

Due to these unprecedented times, we wanted to share with you that starting March 23, 2020, Crown Auto Group will be shortening our hours as follows:

Sales: Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm
Service/Parts: Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm
Body shop: Monday-Friday 7:30pm-6pm

By shortening these hours, we believe we will can better limit our team’s exposure to possible spread while providing key services such as performing vehicle repairs, safety recalls and facilitating vehicle purchases for those in need of a car.

In addition, we have protective measures in place to keep everyone safe:

Measures we are taking to keep everyone safe:

  • Our janitorial teams and staff are disinfecting high-touch areas throughout the dealership such as desks, phones, door handles, debit machines and chair arms throughout the day.
  • We have replaced handshakes with an elbow bump or wave – please know it’s our way of keeping everyone safe and we are still happy to see you!
  • We are using plastic steering wheel covers, and sanitizing door handles and shifters, when moving vehicles for all departments including shuttles and courtesy vehicles.
  • Plastic disposable gloves are available for both employee and guest use.
  • Employees, who are showing signs of illness, are being asked to stay at home. Those that have returned from recent international travel are self-isolating.
  • Shuttles will only transport a maximum of two customers at one time to facilitate social distancing.

We recognize that you may not be comfortable visiting us during this unprecedented time, so we have put measures in place to allow you to transact from a distance.

Ways we can help you transact at home:

  • Sending you useful information, videos and photos of your vehicle of interest.
  • Book a free no-obligation test drive at home – We will bring the vehicle to you!
  • Completing your new or used car purchase remotely.
  • Free pick up/drop off valet for service within certain parts of the city. This will allow you to service your vehicle while limiting contact to the public – Book your pick up/drop off here

If you don’t feel comfortable coming to the store at this time, please call and inquire about these alternative options. We appreciate your cooperation as we work towards providing you with a safe and easy car ownership experience.
